Needlework sampler worked in delicate polychrome silks (pink, brown, blue, green, and azure), on medium fine woollen tammy (some small, nearly invisible, moth damage), by Elizabeth Parkinson, aged 11, in 1832. Delightful, heartwarming central verse. In Victorian period, OG section, bird’s-eye maple frame. h40.5cm x w38cm (16″ x 15″ approx.)
